Personal means yours · Under development

Your finances live with you.

Your financial history belongs to you. Talia is designed to keep it on your device and give you control over where it goes.

A product overview

Talia is under development. This page explains its privacy design; it is not a legal privacy policy.

A local financial database

Your records live in a SQLite database on your device. Budgeting, tracking, and projections are calculated there. You can export the full database as CSV or SQLite.

Intelligence without a hosted model

On supported devices, a local model helps with narrow tasks such as interpreting a report question or suggesting statement columns. It does not compute your figures or make financial decisions. You can also use a model runtime you operate yourself. Core tracking, budgeting, and projections work without one.

Market data is a choice

Shared reference data is downloaded as the same file for everyone. For daily prices, a provider you choose can see which securities you request, but not your quantities, balances, or accounts. Turn market data off to use statement values without sending holdings lookups.

Sync only when you want it

Optional, end-to-end encrypted sync keeps a copy of your database on the sync server as ciphertext it cannot read. No email, password, or profile is required. The encryption key is made on your device and transferred using a QR code or a 24-word recovery key.

Control comes with responsibility

Lose all your devices and the recovery key, and nobody can decrypt the synced copy, including Talia. The sync design allows one editing device at a time; other devices read. If copies disagree, you choose which to keep rather than having your financial records merged automatically.
