Mortgages & loans · Under development
See where your payments lead.
Keep your mortgage and loans connected to your budget, with a clearer view of the balance, the terms, and what comes next.
Talia is under development. This overview describes the intended experience.
A mortgage has two timelines.
An illustrative guide to the terms Talia keeps distinct.
- Term
- When the current agreement ends
- Amortization
- The time planned to repay the loan
- Renewal assumption
- The rate used beyond this term
Keep the terms with the balance
Record your loan’s balance, interest rate, payment schedule, and terms. Mortgage planning distinguishes the end of a term from the time needed to repay the loan.
Connect payments to your plan
Linked loan payments feed the monthly budget. Where the information supports it, payment history separates principal and interest; missing details are identified rather than filled in by guesswork.
Look ahead to renewal and payoff
Explore the payoff path from your current balance and terms. Renewal planning uses an explicit rate assumption so you can see how a change in rate could affect future payments.
What to know
Projections need a known balance, rate, interest method, and payment or amortization. Future rates are assumptions. Prepayment penalties, payment holidays, and lender rate comparisons are outside the current design.
